What to do..? Who knows...

There'll be a lot going on right bang in the middle of this trial. Perhaps that'll give you an idea for something to do with the tools!

And all your trial blogs need to be done before someone else returns to our screens at the end of March!

And another poll...

This one's a Google Form. No limits (well, things get tricky after 40,000 responses). Not as pretty and no SMS voting but it works.

Now let's try a poll...

This was created with PollEverywhere. One problem is that my free account only allows 40 responses so I guess this wouldn't be much good for big surveys but perfectly adequate for classes voting just once each time (or for things that don't attract much interest like By-Elections and whether Scotland should be independent.)

You should be able to see results in a chart after voting too. If you didn't want to put the form in a blog or on a web page then you can just provide a link to the PollEverwhere hosted version. The presentation and chart version is good in class because you can show it on a screen and see it updating live.

Introduction to this blog

From the moment someone spots a course advertisement to when they move on with a certificate in their hand, technology has a great impact on their journey.
How an organisation utilises new administrative tools, how confident staff are in managing change in the classroom and the extent to which the learner feels that the environment is efficient and modern; all contribute to how others will view the organisation and its staff.
At each stage of the Learner Journey there is technology that can help. Organisations in the Third Sector are being supported by LSIS to try some out. This blog will show how they got on.
